My Theology

ExPluribusUnum, or "one from many", is the Shortest Way to Describe My Theology.

I believe that we are all mere human beings trying to make sense of our existence; so we should keep that in mind when we interact with one another. We are one people, composed of many persons. "God" is found in the love we share. The only way to get to that holy place is to practice more love!

About UUXMNR

Hello! And thanks for stopping by. My name is Adrian L. H. Graham, but generally these days you can also find me in many places under UUXMNR (read: UU Examiner), a handle I created years ago while attempting to earn some extra cash writing articles about and for Unitarian Universalists for the online newspaper. While it initially reflected a specific role I was filling for the newspaper, the name no longer has any connection to its origin. Now, I'm just a UU intent on examining what it means for me to be a Unitarian Universalist, and reflecting on my life's journey.

I consider myself a "Uvangelist" as well, and I share Unitarian Universalism with all. My passions are mostly cultural, and include music, language, and ethnic cuisine, among others. I enjoy studying religions, and I've been a UU for half my life. I also love learning about people's different religious journeys and cultural experiences. Share with me!

As of 2023, I live in Ballenger Creek, MD, with my adorable husband Joel after 20 years in Charm City (Baltimore). Our viciously cute cat Loki died in 2018 - RIP; now we are the parents of Rufus Utu and Tani Inana. The First Unitarian Church of Baltimore (Universalist & Unitarian) is our spiritual home. Please do comment on the thoughts I post here, and I love to be engaged in conversation! I was very active on twitter  (RIP) but I deactivated my account due to the nonsense there. Find me elsewhere as @UUXMNR...what else?! Although I'm not the best at email, you can also reach me by writing.
